The Practical Nursing program includes both classroom instruction and clinical practice of 1344 clock hours. This will help you function effectively in acute, long-term and ambulatory settings and provide you with a collaborative learning environment that will help you apply principles of reasoning through critical thinking. You will become a valuable member of a health care team in various employment settings that include nursing homes, hospitals, physicians’ offices, corporate occupational health programs and public school systems. The PN also provides bedside care to patients, works under the direction of physicians and registered nurses (RNs) and provides nursing care that requires technical knowledge and skill. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2012-13 Edition, employment in practical nursing is expected to increase 22% from 2010 to 2020.

Entry Requirements:

  1. The Minimum entry requirement into this program is High School or GED or Higher Education

  2. Applicant MUST be at Least 18 years

  3. Applicants Must Pass an Entrance Exams at GED level 1

  4. Applicant must attend an Interview

  5. Submit two (2) References. (One professional and one personal- but not from a relative)

  6. Evidence of required immunizations.

  7. Satisfactory National Criminal Background Check and Drug test.

  8. Valid CPR certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.

  9. Valid ID card and Social Security Card



  1. Fill application form online and pay the following fees online:

    Entrance exam fee …………. $50.00 (Non-Refundable)
    Total ………………………….. $150.00

  2. Take the entrance exams.

  3. Attend an interview with the Admissions officer



  • Applicants MUST be prepared to present the Original Copies of ALL DOCUMENTS during the Interview Stage of the Admission Process.

  • All applicants should request Official Transcripts of their High School/GED education or Higher education, to be sent to; The Admission Office, Ultimate Health School. 7839 Ashton Avenue, Manassas. VA 20109

  • Applicants with Transcripts from outside the United States should have their Transcripts evaluated by one of our evaluating agencies, and the results sent to us at the above address.
